Introduction

Welcome to the staff profile page for Kinetic Physical Therapy!

The Physical Therapists here at Kinetic have all of the qualifications and advanced skills needed to provide you the highest level of health care in the region.

Kinetic Physical Therapy provides all of our therapists with advanced clinical education in manual Physical Therapy techniques, as well as areas of their individual interests and specialization.  In addition to extensive yearly continuing education, many of our Physical Therapists have post-professional degrees and certificates including:

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT): It is the vision of the American Physical Therapy Association that by 2020, Physical Therapy will be provided by Physical Therapists who are doctors of Physical Therapy, and recognized by consumers as well as other health care professionals as the Direct Access practitioner of choice for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of movement dysfunctions.

Direct Access (DA) Certified:  Physical Therapists who have at least two years experience and have maintained yearly requirements of continuing education can apply for their Direct Access License.  This license allows them to treat patients for 30 days without a prescription or referral.  Kinetic Physical Therapy has at least one Direct Access therapist at each of our locations to allow you to obtain Physical Therapy services in a timely manner.

Athletic Training Certified (ATC):  This certification is given by the National Athletic Trainers Association.  To become an ATC, you must graduate with a B.S. or M.S. degree from an accredited institution as well as pass a comprehensive test administered by the Board of Certification.  Once certified they must meet ongoing continuing education to maintain certification.

Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS):  This certification also necessitates a B.S. or M.S. degree as well as a certification exam and ongoing continuing education.  Professionals with this certification design and implement strength and conditioning programs for athletes in a team setting.

Our staff's advanced training, paired with our treatment model of One patient, One Physical Therapist, One goal, ensures that you will immediately know the difference between Physical Therapy and KINETIC PHYSICAL THERAPY.

Please read through our biographies and familiarize yourself with our team; at that point your recovery is underway.  Simply call or email and we will take care of the rest.  We look forward to meeting you!
